Winston Taylor advises on multi-million investment

Winston Taylor’s corporate team has advised Blume Equity, on its investment in MySafeDrive Limited t/a CameraMatics, an Irish-headquartered leader in AI-powered freight-management software.

This €49 million investment featured two additional co-investors, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and Allied Irish Banks.

Founded in 2016 by fleet industry veterans Mervyn O’Callaghan and Simon Murray, CameraMatics has built one of the leading connected fleet intelligence platforms in the market.

Video intelligence

It combines AI-driven video intelligence, advanced driver-assistance systems and real-time operational analytics to help commercial fleet operators improve safety, reduce operational risk, and lower carbon emissions.

Winston Taylor’s corporate team was led by partner Paddy Quinlan and included senior associates Rachel McCausland and Ameer Gazder, and associates Emer Travers and Jack Ryan.
