Revenue is inviting applications for posts as Assistant Principal Officer specialising in transfer pricing.
A qualification as a solicitor or barrister, among other professional qualifications, is listed among the essential requirements for applicants. Practical and leadership experience in relevant areas is also required.
Transfer pricing refers to how related companies determine the prices different parts of the business charge each other for goods, services, or intellectual property.
International tax
A panel will be formed from which appointments may be made in international taxation, and audit and compliance.
Revenue says that, in international taxation, successful candidates will play a “pivotal role” in negotiating complex international tax disputes with foreign tax authorities.
The position also involves assisting in Ireland’s participation at the OECD, EU, and UN on transfer-pricing policy matters.
In audit and compliance, successful candidates will also conduct transfer-pricing risk assessments and compliance interventions – including comprehensive audits of high-profile corporations.
