DSBA webinar on legal issues after death

The Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA) is organising two webinars later this month – one on legal issues arising after a death, the other on road-traffic law.

Remains of the day: Devolution and transmission of title on death’ will provide an overview of the requirements to complete the vesting of title to a property after death.

It takes place on Thursday 11 June (12.30 to 2.30pm) and will be chaired by Trea McGuinness (senior associate with BHSM LLP), who specialises in wills and estate planning, the creation and administration of trusts, and administration of estates.

The speakers are:

  • Ann Stephenson (principal, Stephenson Solicitors), who is a member of STEP, the DSBA Probate and Taxation Committee, and the Law Society Probate Administration and Trust Committee,
  • Niall Fahy (barrister), who specialises in areas related to succession and probate, and
  • Clodagh O’Hagan (partner, Mullany Walsh Maxwells LLP).

The webinar on road-traffic law takes place on Wednesday 17 June (4-6pm) and is chaired by Judge Grainne Malone.

David Staunton BL will speak on road-traffic prosecutions on indictment and general disclosure issues, while Martin Dully BL will provide updates on road-traffic law.
