International legal and professional-services firm Walkers will appoint Nicholas Blake-Knox as its new managing partner for Ireland, starting 30 April.
The respected asset-management and investment-funds lawyer will succeed Jonathan Sheehan, who has completed a four-year term.
Blake-Knox will lead Walkers' Ireland office, which currently has over 200 staff.

The new managing partner has more than 20 years’ experience working in the asset-management and investment-funds industry.
He was previously elected to the Irish Funds Council and in 2024/2025 served as chair of Irish Funds.
In 2025, Blake-Knox was appointed for a two year term by the Irish Government to its Ireland for Finance Joint Committee, an initiative aimed at further growing and developing Ireland’s financial-services sector.
Before joining Walkers, he was senior vice-president and senior legal counsel at PIMCO in London, managing all areas of the EMEA funds business.
