HOMS Assist names Claire Tuohy as partner

HOMS Assist has promoted Claire Tuohy to partner, recognising her expertise in wills, trusts, probate, and cross-border estates.

Tuohy has been a member of the HOMS Assist team since 2017 and specialises in private-client law advising individuals and families on complex succession and estate matters, including contentious probate and trust disputes.

Dual-qualified

Dual-qualified in Ireland and in England and Wales, Claire holds an LLB in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick and a STEP Diploma in Administration of Trusts and Estates.

Her dual qualifications and experience provide her with a strong understanding of the legal and tax complexities arising in cross-border cases, particularly between Ireland and Britain.

The lawyer is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), an internationally recognised professional body for trust and estate practitioners.

She is a committee member of the STEP Ireland branch and is a lecturer for the Law Society and STEP Ireland diploma.
