High Court arrangements for summer period

The High Court has outlined arrangements for its summer vacation period, which runs throughout August and September. 

For urgent applications, a judge will be available every day throughout the period, with all sittings taking place Monday to Friday in Court 6 in the Four Courts at 11am, unless otherwise advised by the High Court’s duty registrar. 

The High Court bail list will sit in the Criminal Courts of Justice on Parkgate Street on the following dates: 

  • August (4, 5, 6, 11,12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27), 
  • September (1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11,15,16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30), and 
  • October (1 and 2). 

Extradition list 

The extradition list will sit in the Criminal Courts of Justice on the following dates to deal with urgent applications only: 

  • August (4, 6, 11, 13, 21, 25, and 27), 
  • September (1, 3, 8, 10, 15,17, 22, 24, and 29), and 
  • October (1). 

The High Court’s central office will remain open for business as usual during the summer period. 

The Legal Diary will be published on the Courts Service website on each day on which the central office is open.
