DSBA event on legal perspectives on GenAI
The Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA) is organising a webinar tomorrow (28 April) on legal perspectives on generative AI.
The Zoom webinar, chaired by Ms Justice Eileen Roberts, will run from 12 noon to 2pm.
Two CPD hours for client care and professional standards are available for participants.
The speakers are:
- Michael O’Doherty (barrister) – publication and defamation in the context of a generative AI tool and the growing problem of AI ‘hallucinations’ in court proceedings,
- John O’Keeffe (solicitor) – practical suggestions on using AI in contract negotiation and drafting without a bespoke AI contracts tool, and
- Donna O’Leary (solicitor) – litigation privilege in the age of AI.
