Beauchamps LLP has appointed Peter Curran and Darragh Blake as senior partners, after both joined the firm from Eversheds Sutherland.
Beauchamps says that the appointments further strengthen its expertise in projects, procurement, infrastructure, energy, and banking and finance.
Curran, a commercial lawyer with over 25 years’ experience, becomes a partner in the division covering projects, infrastructure, and energy.
He headed the all-island projects and procurement group at Eversheds Sutherland and has advised on some of the most significant procurement, infrastructure, and government-backed projects in Ireland and internationally.
Blake, who joins Beauchamps’ banking-and-finance practice, has extensive expertise in property, development finance, acquisition finance, and project finance.
The firm says that the appointments come at a pivotal time for Ireland’s development, coinciding with the recent launch of the revised National Development Plan and the firm's recent major housing conference.
Welcoming the new partners, managing partner John White said that their arrival reflected Beauchamps’ commitment to being “at the forefront” of Ireland’s most important housing, infrastructure, and energy projects, and the associated financing.
The firm has expanded in the past 12 months, with several senior hires – most recently, two new corporate partners.
