Eight law firms win Chambers Ireland award

Eight Irish firms have won the Volunteering and Pro Bono Services Award at this year’s Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Impact Awards.

The award recognised the law firms’ work with several NGOs (non-governmental organisations) to deliver legal services to unaccompanied refugee minors.

The awards highlight best practice in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility by companies of all sizes across Ireland, in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The eight law firms involved were:

  • Arthur Cox LLP,
  • A&L Goodbody LLP,
  • Simmons & Simmons LLP,
  • Dechert LLP,
  • DLA Piper LLP,
  • Matheson LLP,
  • Mason Hayes & Curran LLP, and
  • McCann FitzGerald LLP.

A&L Goodbody also took a separate Partnership with Charity award for its link of more than ten years with the Irish Refugee Council.
