Annual licensing court dates for north-west

The Sligo Court Office has advised solicitors that the Annual Licensing Courts (ALC) for Manorhamilton, Sligo, and Tubbercurry will be held later this month.

The Manorhamilton court will be on 10 September, Sligo on 24 September, and Tubbercurry on 25 September.

The ALCs deal with applications that include licences for annual dance, public music and singing, restaurant certificate, and wine/spirit/beer retailers.

Advertisements and notices

The court says that it is advisable to publish advertisements as early as possible and to lodge newspaper notices and appropriate book of proofs in Sligo Court Office no later than:

  • 3 September for applications for Manorhamilton,
  • 17 September for applications for Tubbercurry, and
  • 18 September for applications for Sligo.

Anything received after these dates will be adjourned to the second ALC dates:

  • 12 November  for Manorhamilton applications,
  • 26 November for Tubbercurry applications, and
  • 2 December for Sligo applications.

There will be only two adjournment dates:

  • Manorhamilton: Wednesday 12 November (10.30am) and Wednesday 11 March 2026 (10.30am),
  • Tubbercurry: Wednesday 26 November (10.30am) and Wednesday 25 March 2026 (10.30am), and
  • Sligo: (Tuesday 2 December (10.30am) and Tuesday 3 March 2026 (10.30am).
