May date for Leitrim solicitors’ cluster event
The second event in Law Society Skillnet’s regional CPD cluster programme for 2025 will take place in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim on Thursday 15 May.
The update will take place at the Landmark Hotel, Dublin Road, Carrick-on-Shannon (10am to 5.30pm).
It is being organised in collaboration with Leitrim Bar Association, Longford Bar Association, Roscommon Bar Association, and Sligo Solicitors’ Bar Association.
Networking opportunity
Attendance will yield four general CPD hours, one for professional development and solicitor wellbeing, and one for client care and professional standards.
The conference will provide an opportunity for practitioners to update their knowledge in areas of law relevant to general practice.
There will also be an opportunity to network with colleagues over lunch and an evening drinks reception.

- Cyber-crime: insights into identifying and preventing fraud),
- Recent developments in conveyancing 2025,
- Tailte Éireann,
- How to respond and not react,
- Family law – including pensions and the new District Court proposals,
- Assisted decision-making update, and
- Meetings, alternatives to meetings, and the role of a chair.
