Hibernian Law Medal award-ceremony date

Mr Justice Bryan McMahon is this year’s recipient of the Hibernian Law Medal.

The former High Court Judge (small picture) will be awarded the Hibernian Law Medal at a ceremony chaired by Ms Justice Marie Baker on 16 July at Blackhall Place.

Outstanding

Since 2018, the Hibernian Law Medal has been awarded annually to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of justice, the integrity of the rule of law, as well as to the independence of the judiciary both in Ireland and abroad.

Recipients include former Chief Justice Frank Clarke, Mrs Justice Susan Denham, former President Mary McAleese, and Lord Neuberger.

The ceremony will take place at 6.30pm on 16 July at the Education Centre, Blackhall Place.

Admission is free but registration is required on Eventbrite.
