Department of Justice updates its name
The Department of Justice has changed its name to the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration.
The change to an updated title takes effect from today ( 5 June 2025).

“This change reflects the expanded remit of the department and provides greater clarity on the full scope of our work.
“We will continue to work for a safe, fair, and inclusive Ireland,” a spokesman said.
