Law firm A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has officially opened its newly redeveloped headquarters at 25 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1.
The opening was attended by Taoiseach Micheál Martin, who addressed nearly 600 staff from ALG’s Dublin office.
Spanning 155,000 square feet, the building was redeveloped in partnership with property owner IPUT Real Estate.
The firm described the new offices as a “smart, technology-enabled building, developed using best-in-class building techniques, with an emphasis on renewable energy and low-carbon materials”.
The building has retained 75% of its original structure, resulting in substantial savings in carbon footprint and waste.
David Widger (ALG managing partner) said that the new headquarters reflected the firm’s confidence in, and ambition for, its business and for its clients.
“It is our building for the future, while staying rooted in the place we called home for over two decades,” he added.
The redevelopment project, which began in 2022, includes two additional floors, landscaped terraces, a new atrium, and a purpose-built client suite.
ALG currently employs more than 1,000 people across its offices – including 346 lawyers and 120 partners.
It has offices in Dublin, Belfast, London, New York, and San Francisco.
