New dispute-resolution partner at MHC

Business-law firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC) has promoted Conor O’Leary to partner in its dispute-resolution team.

O’Leary is a commercial litigator with a focus on complex investigations, often involving cyber-crime or regulatory action.

He has acted in some of the highest-profile commercial disputes to come before the courts in recent years.

MHC’s new partner holds degrees from University College Dublin (BCL) and University College Cork (LLM), and a diploma in commercial litigation (Law Society of Ireland). He is also a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers.

Leadership

Maurice Phelan and Gerard Kelly (co-heads of dispute resolution, MHC) welcomed O’Leary’s appointment.

“His promotion reflects the leadership he brings to difficult disputes and the confidence clients place in his advice,” Phelan stated.

Gerard Kelly said that the appointment further strengthened the dispute-resolution team’s capacity to deliver results in high-stakes litigation.
