DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has appointed Liam Harnett as a partner in its Dublin office and global risks team.
Harnett joins DWF with extensive experience in complex commercial disputes, having previously practised at Clyde & Co, Arthur Cox, and A&L Goodbody.
He has acted in some of the most significant Commercial Court disputes in Ireland, particularly in aviation, financial services, and insurance.
He spent five years in Clyde & Co’s London office before returning home to Dublin, where he has spent the last four years advising clients on high-value and high-profile matters.
A dual-qualified litigation lawyer, Harnett brings over 15 years of experience that includes acting for London market insurers, global reinsurers, corporates, professional-services firms, and financial institutions.
His practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration involving complex contracts, (re)insurance disputes, global risks, financial lines, product liability, professional negligence, construction, and regulatory issues.
Harnett is also a specialist in cyber-breach and data privacy matters.
