Donegal tweed keynote for Bird & Bird Irish HQ

Global firm Bird & Bird, which specialises in  IP, data protection, digital services, and technology, has moved to its new Irish headquarters at the top of Grafton Street in Dublin.

The 124 St Stephen’s Green premises features bespoke pieces using Donegal tweed upholstery by iconic Irish brand Magee.

The firm launched its Irish operation in mid-2022 as part of a strategy to position the country as a strategic gateway to Europe.

The firm said that the move to the new office marked a significant milestone and signalled long-term confidence in the market.

Bird & Bird has expanded to 45 professional staff in Ireland, and country head Michael Finn (small picture) said: “This move is about more than a change of address; it’s a reflection of the momentum we’ve built and a statement of our ambitions and commitment to the Irish market and its role on the global legal stage.”

Hub

Ireland was a critical hub for clients navigating complex regulatory environments, he said.

“What sets Bird & Bird apart is our seamless integration of local insight with global reach. With an international network of 33 offices and over 200 partner firms, clients benefit from direct access to the specialists globally on a 24/7 basis,” Finn added.
