Patrice O’Keeffe is new CKT managing partner

Law firm Comyn Kelleher Tobin (CKT) has appointed Patrice O’Keeffe as its new managing partner.

She succeeds Deborah Moore, who had led the practice for 16 years and now becomes chair of the firm.

The firm has also appointed litigator Grace Toher as partner, while it has also promoted Kevin Healy to senior associate on the healthcare team.

CKT, which has offices in Cork and Dublin, says that it has experienced substantial growth in recent years, increasing the number of practising solicitors by 85% and more than doubling the number of partners since 2015.

Law Society appointment

It adds that the latest appointments, coupled with the that of CKT partner Eamon Harrington as President of the Law Society, makes 2025 “a significant and exciting year” for the firm.

Moore described O’Keeffe as “a driving force” in the firm’s growth, adding that she had shown “immense leadership qualities”.

The new managing partner began her career at CKT in 2004, becoming a partner of the firm in 2014.

CKT provides strategic advisory services across key industries – including healthcare, insurance, commercial, employment, and property law.

The firm represents several public and private sector organisations, such as the Health Service Executive, State Claims Agency, Tusla, and Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
