Belfast-based Phoenix Law has promoted immigration lawyer Sinead Marmion to become a partner in the firm.
Marmion, who joined Phoenix Law in 2019, has been head of the firm’s immigration and asylum department.
The firm says that she has acted in several high-profile and complex cases – including a challenge to the British government’s Rwanda deportation policy.
“I am dedicated to continuing in my journey as a human-rights and immigration lawyer in providing representation to those who are marginalised and unable to assert their rights, especially in an increasingly hostile environment for rights,” Marmion stated.
Phoenix Law partner Gavin Booth said that Sinead Marmion was “widely recognised” as Ireland’s leading immigration specialist.
“Her professionalism, talent, and commitment embody the values of Phoenix Law,” he added.
