Business-law firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC) is to sponsor this year’s international symposium hosted by the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO).
The event takes place in London on 14–15 October.
Run in co-operation with Britain’s Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), the symposium brings together key players in product regulation, enforcement, and compliance.
Michaela Herron (MHC’s head of products) said that global collaboration had never been more important, as changes to the product-safety landscape were occurring frequently and rapidly.
“The ICPHSO international symposium offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with all stakeholders who are shaping the future of consumer protection,” she added.
Attendees will include regulators, manufacturers, NGOs, legal experts, and academic researchers.
The 2025 programme will explore the theme ‘Adapting to change: exploring the future of product safety’, with sessions expected to address regulatory developments, emerging technologies, and cross-border collaboration.
