Law Society courses on practical AI uses

Law Society Skillnet is holding two more workshops next month that will provide an introduction to AI for legal practitioners.

The two sessions take place on Monday 8 September at the Law Society, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7.

The morning session runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm, while an afternoon session starts at 2pm and finishes at 5pm.

The workshops are worth three CPD hours professional development and solicitor wellbeing (by group study).

Professional responsibility

The course is an introduction to practical AI uses, with an emphasis on professional responsibility.

It aims to provide practical, low-risk use cases that can be implemented to assist and/or augment daily tasks.

This training is aimed at solicitors across all practice areas, and attendees should bring a laptop, iPad, or tablet in order to participate in the live examples and get the maximum benefit from the workshop.

The trainer is consultant Donna O’Leary, a dual-qualified solicitor in Ireland, and England and Wales, specialising in AI literacy, strategy, and implementation for law firms.
