Death of Mr Justice Declan Budd announced
The death has been announced of the retired High Court judge Mr Justice Declan Budd.
Mr Justice Budd was appointed as a High Court judge in 1991 and later sat on the Court of Criminal Appeal. He retired in 2011.
While on the High Court, the judge also served a five-year term as president of the Law Reform Commission.
His funeral service will take place on Tuesday 26 August (2.30pm) in St Paul’s Church, Glenageary, Dublin.
