DLA Piper has appointed Elizabeth Bradley as partner in its finance practice, based in Dublin.
She will take up the role in January 2025, joining the firm from Maples Group in Dublin, where she was a partner in the banking-and-finance team for more than ten years.
Bradley focuses on banking and finance law, acting for Irish and global financial institutions across a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions – including property financing, acquisition financing, corporate treasury, and fund financing.
DLA Piper’s team of 115 people in Ireland now includes 20 partners and 13 legal directors.
As the firm reaches its five-year anniversary in Ireland, it says that it is continuing to grow significantly across all its practice groups.
Colin Wilson (partner and international group head of finance) described the appointment as “a very welcome addition” to DLA Piper’s global finance practice.
Conor Houlihan (head of finance in Ireland) added the Bradley’s addition would help to accelerate the delivery of DLA Piper’s “ambitious strategy”.
