Global firm Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP has promoted six of its senior lawyers in Ireland.
Two new partners are:
Alex Walsh, Eoin O'Leary (finance), Jennifer Dobbyn, and Richard O'Donoghue (funds and investment management) have been promoted to ‘of counsel’.
Over the past 18 years, the firm has grown rapidly in Ireland, and now has an all-time high of partner numbers, with women comprising 40% of them.
Managing partner Peter Stapleton said that the firm had strengthened its core practice areas.
Globally, 18 new partners and ‘of counsel' were appointed in eight locations worldwide, with strong representation across the European offices.
The firm employs over 500 people in Ireland in two Dublin offices, and nearly 3,000 globally in 16 international offices.
