Dublin lawyer secures Clyde & Co US spot

Dublin-based Bernadette Raleigh is one of 50 lawyers to have secured a place on a global exchange programme run by global law firm Clyde & Co.

Raleigh, a senior associate in the firm’s Dublin office, will be travelling to New York in mid-June.

Situated in the iconic Chrysler Building, Clyde & Co's New York team is one of the largest insurance-focused litigation groups in the US.

Relationships

The firm’s Global Associate Programme is aimed at providing an opportunity for its lawyers to spend time in another office, to foster lasting relationships with international colleagues, and solidify connections with contacts and clients outside their usual jurisdiction.

“The New York office is home to some of the most experienced litigators in the US, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to build immediate and lasting relationships with them,” said Raleigh.

Sinead Connolly (partner at Clyde & Co in Dublin) described the programme as “a great platform for our lawyers to form long-term international relationships within the business”.

Clyde & Co has 60 offices across five continents.
