Walkers, which specialises in international financial-services law, has announced that Emmet Quish has joined the firm as a partner in its Irish office.
Quish will be part of the practice that covers asset management and investment funds.
He has almost 20 years’ experience advising clients on a wide range of matters, and has acted for asset managers, investment funds, and management companies.
He was admitted as a solicitor in Ireland in 2007 and worked at a leading domestic firm before becoming partner there, and subsequently at an international firm in Dublin.
Nicholas Blake-Knox (Walkers partner and head of asset management and investment funds in Ireland) said that Quish’s expertise and experience across a variety of investment-fund types and asset classes would be a valuable addition to the firm.
