Planning watchdog launches legal bulletin

The Office of the Planning Regulator (OPR) has recently launched a new quarterly legal bulletin called ‘Learning from Litigation’.

The office says that the bulletin is intended as a new resource for the sector to share knowledge from planning and environmental case law.

It provides information on important precedents, court decisions and emerging trends.

Cases

The bulletin also includes a concise overview of noteworthy planning cases.

It is expected to be published on a quarterly basis.

The OPR adds that it appreciates any feedback, as it continues to enhance the publication.

The cases summaries are provided by solicitors from Fieldfisher Ireland LLP, whose team includes Zoe Richardson, a member of the Law Society’s Environmental and Planning Law Committee.
