High take-up for Women in Leadership scheme
There has been a large rise in applications for Law Society Skillnet’s Women in Leadership Mentoring Programme for the for 2023/24 campaign.
The organisation said the increase in mentors and mentees led to 142 matches (71 pairs) for the programme – up significantly compared with previous years.
Law Society Member Services said that participants came from across the country and from all forms of solicitor specialisms.
Volunteers
It thanked the high number of mentors who had volunteered to provide their time, expertise, and guidance to mentees without expectation of anything in return.
The organisation will start to seek applications for the programme again in March 2024.
