The Courts Service’s new appointment-booking service has been extended to a further two offices from Tuesday 3 October.
The courts body says that the service allows the public to visit an office at a time and date that suits them.
From Tuesday, an appointment can be scheduled in advance for Dundalk and Wexford court offices by visiting the appointments page.
This provides members of the public with access to an online booking system 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Courts Service says that the new system will reduce waiting times, and ensure that the correct members of staff are available to deal with relevant services or queries.
An appointment is not needed to make an application under the domestic-violence legislation – this remains a walk-in service.
Wexford Court Office is opening the appointment service to domestic-violence applications, but it is not necessary to make an appointment for such applications.
