New appointments system goes live at bail office

The Courts Service’s new appointment-booking service has been extended to the Dublin District Court Bail Office, Criminal Courts of Justice, from today (13 November).

The new system covers queries relating to:

  • Restorations of a driving licence,
  • Set-asides, and
  • Reinstatement of appeals.

The courts body says that the new system provides people with access to an online booking system 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to make appointments to visit the office at a date and time that suits them.

Waiting times

The measure is also aimed at reducing waiting times, as well as ensuring that the correct members of staff are available to deal with relevant services or queries.

For those without access to email or online services, the office can be contacted at 01 798 8601 (as well as extensions 8602, 8603, and 8522) to make an appointment.
