Business-law firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC) has appointed Laura Herangi as a partner and head of its data-solutions group.
The firm says that Herangi has “deep expertise” in all areas of data retrieval and management.
She advises clients on the management of large-scale discovery projects, information and data-gathering for regulatory and corporate investigations, and the management of responses to data-subject access requests.
The new partner has also worked as a litigation lawyer, and is a graduate of UCD and UCD Smurfit School of Business.
Maurice Phelan (head of MHC’s dispute-resolution team) said that Herangi brought “a wealth of specialised knowledge“ in all aspects of data and information retrieval and management.
MHC employs more than 580 staff – including 119 partners – with offices in Dublin, New York, San Francisco and London.
