Law Society staffer is Irish national fencing champion
Law Society staffer and fencing wizard Michalis Kirimlidis has been named Men’s Sabre Irish national champion for 2023.
Michalis scooped the top prize at the 2023 Irish Senior National at St Andrew’s College, Booterstown, Co Dublin, held on April 22-23.
Highly technical
Sabre fencing is the fastest of the three types of fencing and is both highly technical and tactical.
Michalis also ended the 2022-23 season placed second top athlete in this highly-competitive sport.
Michalis’s colleagues and friends are very proud of his achievement as national champion.
