Law Society trio in action in negotiation event
A team from the Law Society is taking part in the Negotiation Challenge 2023 over the next month.
The best teams from the online qualification rounds will conduct their final negotiations in mid-May in the Italian capital Rome.
The Law Society team members are:
- Anthony O Shea (Arthur Cox),
- Kevin Barrett, (McCann Fitzgerald), and
- Rachel Jones (Holmes O'Malley Sexton).
Experienced team
Rachel Jones is a trainee solicitor, and has experience working in the corporate and employment departments with Holmes O’Malley Sexton Solicitors.
She was a member of the Law Society’s team that was named best client-advocate team at the INADR-SWPS University International Mediation Tournament.
Kevin Barrett was part of the winning team in the Irish National Negotiation Competition in 2022. As a trainee solicitor with McCann FitzGerald, he has gained experience in the technology and innovation group.
Anthony O’Shea is a trainee solicitor at Arthur Cox, where he has gained experience in commercial litigation. As an under-graduate, he was winner of UCD Student Legal Service Negotiation Competition.
The Law Society team is coached by John Lunney and Enya Levy (Arthur Cox).
