Business-law firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC) has appointed Dorit McCann as a partner in the team covering procurement and competition.
A graduate of Queen’s University of Belfast and King’s College London, McCann has worked for numerous law firms in Ireland, Germany and the UK.
The firm says that she brings 25 years of local and international experience to the team.
McCann advises clients on the competition-law implications of commercial contracts, merger control, investigations, abuse of a dominant position, compliance and enforcement issues, state aid, and competition litigation.
The firm’s managing partner Will Carmody says that her arrival enhances its offering in the areas of competition and procurement law.
“Her practical knowledge of cross-jurisdictional matters will be of significant benefit to our clients, particularly for the impending Irish foreign-direct-investment screening regime,” he added.
