Booking now open for IBA Paris conference

Registration is now open for the IBA annual conference at the Palais des Congrès in Paris from 29 October to 3 November this year.

This will be the world’s premier gathering of international lawyers from more than 130 countries, bringing together the best legal talent from all over the world, IBA President Almudena Arpón de Mendívil said.

“The discussions at the conference will cover the most relevant matters for the legal sector from a substantive law perspective as well as from those affecting the profession, its core values, the promotion of rule of law and human rights,” she said.

Spirit

“I foresee the conference as the recovery of the spirit of Universal Expositions, gathering the best talents from all over the world, especially, the one held in Paris in 1889 which left us the legacy of the Eiffel Tower,” the president added.
