International law firm K&L Gates LLP has appointed the founding partners of its new Dublin office, which was launched earlier this month.
The three partners are Irish lawyers Gayle Bowen, Shane Geraghty, and Michelle Lloyd.
Bowen, who has been appointed managing partner in Dublin, joins K&L Gates from Pinsent Masons LLP, where she was a founding partner and head of its Dublin office.
Geraghty arrives from Dillon Eustace LLP, while Lloyd practised most recently with Maples & Calder (Hong Kong) LLP, where she headed up the European funds team from the firm’s Hong Kong office.
K&L Gates has also appointed three new associates in its Dublin office.
They include senior associate Áine Ní Riain, as well as associates Lucy Deane and Louisa Hayes − all of whom will work in the practice that covers asset management and investment funds.
Managing partner Gayle Bowen said that she was delighted to be leading such a strong team at the outset of K&L Gates’ expansion into the Irish market.
