International law firm Simmons & Simmons has reported increases in revenue and profits for the financial year to the end of April.
The firm said that its Dublin office recorded “significant” growth compared with the previous financial year.
Overall, revenue of Stg £521 million was up 12% on the previous year, while profits rose by 2% to £189 million.
During the 12-month period, Simmons & Simmons hired 22 partners across 12 offices in 11 countries.
Income at its flexible-resourcing platform Adaptive jumped by 28%, while the healthcare and life-sciences division recorded growth of 29%.
“In a year of economic disruption and rapid technological advances, our continued success shows the firm has capitalised on our global reputation for innovation,” said managing partner Jeremy Hoyland.
Ireland country head, Rachel Stanton (small picture) added: “The contribution of the Dublin office to the overall growth of our firm is a testament to the talent, expertise and exceptional service of our team in Ireland and across our international network.”
The firm opened in Ireland in 2018 with a focus of supporting its international clients doing business in or through Ireland.
