‘Mediation in the context of catastrophic injury’

The Irish Branch of GEMME (the European Judges' Group for Mediation) will host an open hybrid event on the topic of 'Mediation in the context of catastrophic injury and medical negligence cases', on 28 February in the Distillery Building, Dublin.

This promises to be a highly topical, practical and informative event. The panel of speakers includes Sara Moorhead SC and Ernest Cantillon (managing partner, Cantillons Solicitors, Cork) who are expert practitioners in the areas of personal injuries and medical negligence.

Both enjoy outstanding reputations and have significant experience in the resolution of cases through litigation, negotiation and, more recently, mediation.

Mr Justice Kevin Cross (pictured), who prior to his retirement was in charge of the High Court personal-injuries list, will chair the event, which will begin at 4.15pm in the Gaffney Room of the Distillery Building, and conclude at 6.15pm .

Practitioners are encouraged to attend in person, but for those who cannot do so, the event will be live-streamed. All members of the profession are welcome to attend this free event.

You can register by contacting Bernadette Ní Aingléis (Secretary of GEMME Ireland) at info@gemmeireland.ie
