Solicitor is named as Failte Ireland director

Solicitor Angela Ruttledge is among five new Failte Ireland directors appointed by Catherine Martin (Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media).

Ruttledge is public affairs and stakeholder manager at FoodCloud, an Irish charity and social enterprise which creates solutions for the redistribution of surplus food. With a background in financial, corporate and commercial law, Ruttledge moved into the hospitality sector and served on the board of the Restaurants Association of Ireland. 

Also appointed are:

  • Catherine Toolan (Diageo Irish Brand Homes),
  • Kilian Maxwell (head of eCommerce at City Experiences),
  • Matt Kennedy PhD (Arup global lead for climate strategy),
  • Vivienne Jupp (Premier Lotteries Ireland board).

Each will serve a five-year term. The appointments follow a public call for applications on www.stateboards.ie and an assessment process.
