Law firm Comyn Kelleher Tobin (CKT) has appointed three new partners as part of what it describes as a “continuous strategic expansion” in key areas.
Cian Duane joins the firm’s commercial department, while Michelle Cronin and Clíona Kenny (pictured) have been promoted to partners within the firm’s healthcare and childcare practices, respectively.
Duane has significant experience leading commercial property transactions, and advises a wide range of public-sector and private-sector clients in the areas of commercial property, regulatory compliance, procurement, and corporate governance.
The firm describes Cronin as “a leader in the area of child protection and child welfare”. She has in-depth expertise of legislative developments in child-protection and welfare, juvenile justice, protective measures for vulnerable witnesses, mental health, and regulatory law.
Kenny has 15 years’ experience in the resolution of healthcare and disability-related disputes, and has been involved in a number of landmark High Court and Supreme Court cases. A CEDR-accredited mediator, she also practices in employment law.
Deborah Moore (managing partner) said that 2023 had been “a strong year of growth” for CKT, which has expanded its Dublin team and completed a move to larger offices in Ormond Quay.
