Solicitor Susan Bryson has been appointed to the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board.
The body is responsible for overseeing the construction of the new national children’s hospital in Dublin.
Bryson is a partner in the construction team at Mason Hayes & Curran and has practised in the areas of contentious construction law and dispute resolution.
She has been appointed by the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly after a Public Appointments Service process. Her term runs from 31 July 2023 until 30 July 2028.
Minister Donnelly has also reappointed solicitor Tim Boucher-Hayes to the board for the same term.
A former partner in McCann Fitzgerald, he headed the firm’s construction-law group for 15 years. He is currently a consultant and company director.
Boucher-Hayes is a member of the board’s dispute-resolution sub-committee, on which he provides legal expertise on claims, adjudications and conciliations submitted by the main contractor on the project.
