Legal-services group Pinsent Masons has reported increases in revenue and profits for its past financial year.
Revenue increased by just under 6% to almost €595 million, while profits per equity partner increased by 16% to €828,000.
The firm said that its equality-law team doubled its budgeted revenue in its first financial year, while revenue generated by its professional-services division Pinsent Masons Vario grew by more than 40%.
Pinsent Masons employs 70 people in Dublin, and now has 12 partners, with the addition of corporate partners Gerry Beausang and Neil Keenan during the financial year.
“Furthermore, insurance lawyer Niall Campbell became the first Dublin-based lawyer to be promoted to legal director,” said Ann Lalor (head of the Dublin office, pictured).
The firm also appointed Aoife Maguire as new global head of fund registrations, and made a series of promotions to senior associate across a number of its teams.
Lalor said that Pinsent Masons’ Dublin office had made a positive start to the new financial year, advising on some high-profile projects, such as Cathexis Holdings’ acquisition of Jones Engineering.
