The Dublin Solicitors Bar Association is organising an online seminar on leadership challenges for legal teams in a hybrid working environment.
It will take place on 19 July, from 12 noonto 2pm.
Speakers include Dr Melrona Kirrane, who will discuss the nature of leadership, and will consider five key points:
Key challenges for leaders in the remote-working context will then be addressed, with a particular focus on the role of trust for effectiveness in this environment.
Antoinette Moriarty of the Law Society psychological service will speak on the changing psychological landscape of remote working.
This session will consider the impact, challenges, and opportunities of hybrid and remote working for the wellbeing of in-house solicitors.
It will offer psychological frameworks for maintaining optimum personal and professional performance.
Brian M Connolly will talk about the challenges for legal leaders posed by hybrid working and not meeting the team in person on a regular basis, as well as approaches taken, successes, and lessons learnt while dealing with these challenges.
He will also cover some practical aspects of providing legal support to businesses on a remote basis, such as corporate governance, document execution, information management and other areas.
