Growth continues at Mayo firm P O’Connor & Son

Swinford, Co Mayo practice P O’Connor & Son has named two of its solicitors as partners.

The appointments of Gina Mullen and Siobhán Durkan (small picture) bring the partner cohort to five, alongside a team of paralegal, secretarial and executive  support.

The duo join existing partners Patrick O’Connor, Samantha Geraghty and William O’Connor as partners in the 122-year-old firm.

Gina Mullen was admitted to the Law Society Roll of Solicitors in 2012, following a career as a legal executive, and specialises in residential conveyancing, banking law, and security and probate.

UCD BCL graduate Siobhán Durkan, a native of Lurga, Charlestown, Co Mayo, was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2005, and is also qualified in England and Wales.

Following several years as an in-house solicitor with Bank of Ireland in Dublin, Siobhán relocated to Mayo in 2017 to join the firm.

Managing partner Pat O’Connor said: “Siobhán and Gina have demonstrated outstanding legal expertise, and a commitment to the firm and its clients.”

The appointments will bring additional strength, energy and expertise to the firm’s award-winning client service, he added.

The firm has held National Standards Authority of Ireland ISO 9002 accreditation for services for the past six years.
