Ex-Chief Justice to become President of LRC

The Government yesterday appointed Mr Justice Frank Clarke as President of the Law Reform Commission for a five-year term.  

Mr Justice Clarke retired as Chief Justice in 2021

Law Reform Commission

The role of the Law Reform Commission is to keep the law under review and to conduct research with a view to the reform of the law.

This includes the development of law, its codification (including its simplification and modernisation) and the revision and consolidation of statute law.
