Don’t turn up in person for remote hearings plea

The family-law list in Dublin each Monday continues to be held remotely on the Pexip platform, the Courts Service has confirmed.

However, problems have arisen because a small number of participants – both professionals and lay litigants are – turning up in person on Monday mornings, the Courts Service has said.

Inconvenience

This inconveniences both participants and the Registrar, and invariably delays the start of the list, the Courts Service has pointed out.

Practitioners should make note of the connection link at the top of the published family-law list.

The remote-hearing link should be provided to the other party, if unrepresented, in a timely fashion, the Courts Service has requested.
