Dentons hires in three new partners for Dublin office

Dentons has appointed three new partners at its fast-growing Dublin office, which now has ten partners and 26 lawyers in total.

The Dublin team will see the addition of:

  • Colm Ó hUiginn – an energy and projects lawyer who advises on the development and financing of greenfield project and has been involved in significant projects in the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors, and is a recognised ‘Rising Star’ in The Legal 500.  He joins from Shearman & Sterling in London,
  • David McGuinness – a corporate lawyer focusing on private and public M&A, private equity, venture capital transactions, joint ventures and general corporate and commercial advisory. He has worked on corporate transactions in life sciences, infrastructure, hospitality and food-and-beverage sectors. He joins from Allen & Overy in Dubai, having previously worked at William Fry in Dublin,
  • Michael McDonald ­– a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, equity capital markets and investment funds. He has experience of working on large-scale cross-border transactions in healthcare, healthcare technology, cyber security and energy sectors. He joins from Gilbert + Tobin in Australia and also previously worked at William Fry.
