Coming up roses: PPC 1 in charity fundraiser

PPC 1 student Miah Phelan Sweeney (pictured centre) organised a fundraiser in conjunction with the Blackhall Students’ Connect Social Committee to raise money for Women’s Aid.

The Diversity and Inclusion Committee fundraiser, with the help of a team of volunteers, gave PPC 1 students the opportunity to donate and send roses to other PPC 1 students with personalised messages.

Roses delivered

These roses were then delivered by a team of volunteers to happy recipients attending the PPC 1 ball at the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore, Co Offaly, last Thursday (17 February).

In total, the team personalised and sent over 250 roses, raising over €1,000 for Women’s Aid.
