Tips on time management and good working habits

The online information series presented by the Younger Members Committee in collaboration with Law Society Professional Training continues on 12 April at 7pm with a talk from Judith Raphaely (Bright Exchanges) on time management tips and setting good working habits.

Each online information session is complimentary and takes place at 7pm on Tuesday evenings.

It involves a member of the Younger Members Committee in discussion with an expert on a range of topics.

The sessions are 30 minutes long and participants can now claim CPD for their attendance.

Skills

Each session is worth 0.5 CPD credits. (Attend all eight and claim four CPD credits – a mix of general and management and professional development skills, by eLearning.)

The aim is to provide summary information on each topic covered, with suggestions on how to follow-up and to pursue the matter further.

These sessions are held over Zoom, and all solicitors and trainees are welcome to participate.

While there is no charge for these events, you do need to register in advance in order to attend.

Remaining topics

  • 12 April – Time management – setting good working habits,
  • 3 May – Current legislation on cannabis – an overview of the decriminalisation and regulation of the production and sale of cannabis, by David Perry BL,
  • 17 May – Ethics – Cian Moriarty (Philip Lee Solicitors),
  • 31 May – Pro bono work/public-interest law (Eithne Lynch, A&L Goodbody).
