Addleshaw Goddard names three Dublin partners

Addleshaw Goddard has named three new partners at its Dublin office.

The appointments follow the announcement of its merger with Eugene F Collins LLP in Ireland and will expand the firm’s expertise in key areas of EU law, competition and procurement, property and construction, and dispute resolution/professional regulation.

The new partners are:

  • Eoghan Ó hArgáin (head of EU, competition and procurement) who has expertise also in merger control, abuse of a dominant position, anti-competitive agreements, cartel investigations and dawn raids, EU state-aid law, public-procurement law, telecoms law, and regulatory law,
  • Neil Bourke (property and construction) who has wide-ranging commercial real-estate and leasing experience, recently acting for both multinational landlords and tenants on significant commercial lets,
  • Stephen McLoughlin (dispute resolution) who brings strategic expertise in regulatory and administrative law, and has advised in misconduct inquiries and in litigation before the Irish superior courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Talent

Head of Ireland Mark Walsh said the appointments confirm the firm’s focus on attracting the best talent.

Addleshaw Goddard plans to double its practice size in the next three to five years.
